FunkShua is a free-form jam/improvisation band from Greenville, SC that features live looping, trippy jams, spontaneous song creation, off-meter fusion jams, and danceable grooves from around the world.

The core of the band has been together for 15 years and consists of Monty Craig – Guitar, Bass and live loops, Matt Jennings – Bass and Keyboards; Jason Phillips – Congas, Bongos, and various percussion.

Special guests to have been featured along the main band are Vince Crow – Guitars; Vince Morse – Guitars; Samuel Kreger – Bass; Jeff SIpe – Drums; Matt Fassas – Guitar; Niles McCall – Guitar; Timothy Hogue – Saxophones; Robert Nance – Bass and Paul Westlake “Professor 7” – Bass
